MONSTERA is the alias of Seattle-born multi-instrumentalist and producer, Taylor Merisko.

Blending disco, funk, soul, jazz, house, IDM, and more, MONSTERA draws from a vibrant palette of influences to create his own bold and unique flavor of electronic music.

MONSTERA is already making a splash in the house music scene, making his club debut opening for Born Dirty.

His entrance into the scene came in 2022 with the song Dorothy, a shimmering disco-house track perfect for poolside parties and late-night soirées.

In addition to his work as MONSTERA, Taylor creates electronic music under the name GHOST MAFIA, which received nominations for best music video from the UK Music Video Awards, 1.4 Film Festival, Berlin Commercial, and more. 

Taylor is also a blossoming film/TV and media composer, providing original music for a variety of projects including advertising, audio books, and more. In 2025, he provided the original sound track for the award-wining short film NANA.
